conclusion of peace viz. the sume which have been remitted to the

German Manufacturers and refunded to the German firus; whilst in

those unfortunate cases where the proceeds of the liquidation are not sufficient to pay off the neutral and English creditors, then these

amounts are to be included.

Further the value of those properties entered in the books, and which have not fallen into enemy hands, will have to be deducted e.. goods and credit balances in Germany, allied or neutral

lands.

It is requested that the estimates of the losses to be reclaimed according to Scheme B be also sent to the Secretary of the Ostasiatischer Verein, Herr Dr. E. Schwencke (Address: Chamber of Commerce, Hamburg, Exchange) so that they too may be dealt with as

under statement A.
